January 1, 2006
"Twentieth Century Fox is a terrific addition to our team of content and marketing partners, which include some of the most well-respected entertainment companies in the world"

Twentieth Century Fox and National CineMedia (NCM), have entered into a multi-year strategic content and marketing alliance to provide entertaining promotional segments for NCM’s Digital Content Network SM (“DCN”) distribution system beginning in January 2006. The announcement was made today by Pam Levine, co-president of domestic theatrical marketing for Twentieth Century Fox and Cliff Marks, president of sales and chief marketing officer, National CineMedia. NCM is a venture of AMC Entertainment, Cinemark USA and Regal Entertainment Group ("REG", NYSE: RGC), three of the leading theatre operators in the world.

Under the terms of the new agreement, Twentieth Century Fox will provide entertainment and marketing content for National CineMedia's digitally delivered pre-feature program and participate in other integrated marketing opportunities in NCM’s network of approximately 1,200 theatres nationwide reaching 13,000 screens across 49 of the top 50 U.S. markets. Twentieth Century Fox will develop and provide content for NCM’s new digital pre show that will premiere in January 2006 across NCM’s DCN. With the addition of Cinemark’s 2,300 screens next year, NCM’s DCN will expand to 10,500 screens in 150 markets, reaching approximately 565 million annual theatre attendees.

"We are very excited to partner with NCM. Their vast national network of theaters provides a wonderful means for us to place long form content about our upcoming releases in front of our most important target - moviegoers. Our relationship with NCM will enable us to deliver unique entertainment content to an audience who is looking for it," said Ms. Levine.

“Twentieth Century Fox is a terrific addition to our team of content and marketing partners, which include some of the most well-respected entertainment companies in the world,” said Mr. Marks. “The Fox team has had a stellar year, reaching $1 billion in annual domestic box office receipts for the first time in the studio’s history. We are pleased to be forming this new alliance, which supports our commitment to improving the pre-feature entertainment experience for movie audiences at AMC, Cinemark, REG and other NCM network theatres beginning in 2006.”
